Your trip to Jamaica has me longing to go back. That retreat sounds really good, especially in a place like Treasure Beach. (Did you get a chance to see the fishermen haul in their boats?)
Next time you go, check out the poetry society of Jamaica in Kingston...local.poets read their work at the Edna Manley School every Tues. evening.
Thanks, Neena! I’m sure you’ll make it back to the Rock when the time is right. And yes, I love watching the fishermen in Treasure Beach do their thing, especially because I’m good friends with some of them. Such hardworking, kind men! Believe it or not, I’ve never been to Kingston but would love to check out the poetry society - that sounds like a wonderful place to be.
For sure, I'll keep you posted!
Going to definitely check out 4 Seasons, the meal looks delicious, and thank you for the birthday poem. :-)
Thanks, Brian! I’ll be curious what you think of Four Seasons.
